The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance in identifying and handling potential and actual conflicts of interest involving the Association. In most instances, conflicts of interest can be avoided simply by continuing to exercise good judgment, and, indeed, the Association relies on the sound judgment of its members/ employees to prevent many such conflict situations. The Association is committed to the highest levels of integrity. Members/ employees of the Association are expected to conduct their relationships with each other, within the Association, and outside the Association with objectivity and honesty. The general rule is that the Association members/ employees are obligated to avoid and disclose ethical, legal, financial, or other conflicts of interest involving the foundation, and remove themselves from a position of decision-making authority with respect to any conflict situation involving the foundation. The Association of Professional Social Workers and Development Practitioners is committed to creating a safe work environment that is free from any form of sexual harassment and where all employees are treated with dignity and respect. APSWDP is dedicated to maintaining an environment that is free from coercion and intimidation. APSWDP shall adopt certain procedures and guidelines to govern cases against sexual harassment with respect to all three genders. The procedure has been provided below in APSWDP’s policy against sexual harassment (“Policy”). All allegations of sexual harassment shall be taken seriously by APSWDP and shall be governed by this Policy. It is the policy of APSWDP to provide a work and academic environment free of discrimination as required under union and state law. Discrimination is different treatment based on protected characteristic and/or applying policies and practices that have an adverse impact on individuals based on protected characteristics. Harassment on the basis of any legally protected characteristic is a form of discrimination and is likewise prohibited by this policy. The law prohibits discrimination by co-workers and third parties as well as supervisors and managers. Interns, volunteers, and persons performing services under a contract with APSWDP are also covered by this policy. APSWDP will take all reasonable steps to eliminate discrimination and harassment in its work and academic environment. This Monitoring and Evaluation policy of Association of Professional Social Workers and Development Practitioners (herein after refer to as APSWDP) outlines the parameters and approach of programme monitoring and evaluation activities. This policy shall cover all programmatic interventions, including development projects and programmes implemented by APSWDP at field level specifically Capacity Building (herein after refer to as CB) and overall works and programmes conducted/ implemented at global level. M&E approach covers both rights / advocacy work and service provision initiatives. Through this M&E policy, APSWDP shall strive for high-end results through the implementation of all its projects and programmes. The Human Resources Policy aims to give employees of the Association of Professional Social Workers and Development Practitioners (APSWDP) a clear communication of its policies and procedures concerning its Administrative, Management mechanism, and Human Resources guidelines. This policy was formulated to cover and shall be implemented to employees at all levels regardless of rank, level, and status of employment, except for some policies with specifically stated coverage. Policies are needed to set standard guidelines for all employees to have a uniform understanding and harmony in the workplace. The organization believes that fair and just policies and implementation thereof are due to all employees.
